THROWFACE — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 September 2026
Your nickname and scores are public if you join the leaderboard. Google Play cloud saves are optional. Purchases are handled through Google Play and RevenueCat.
Game data and nicknames
Your settings, progress and saved runs are stored on your device. If you choose a leaderboard nickname, we receive that nickname, a random install identifier, your completed-run best scores and their game modes and rule versions. Other players see your nickname and scores, not your install identifier.
Nicknames are checked by an automatic word filter. Offensive or inappropriate names are not allowed and may be removed from the leaderboard by the developer. We keep a minimal moderation record to stop a removed name from being resubmitted by the same installation. Avoid personal information in your nickname.
Optional Google Play cloud saves
When you connect Google Play Games, your permanent game progress, settings, nickname, coin and item balances, and purchase delivery records are backed up with Google's Saved Games service. We use your Play Games player identifier to keep different accounts separate. A random purchase identity is included in the backup so the game can reconnect your RevenueCat purchase history. This does not give us access to your personal Drive files. Without connecting, progress stays on the device. Unfinished runs are saved only on the current device and do not transfer through cloud saves. Loading another cloud save starts fresh runs. Uninstalling does not delete an existing cloud save; Google Play Games provides controls for deleting your game's data.
Purchases and advertising
Google Play processes payments. RevenueCat processes purchase identifiers, transaction history and purchase status to verify purchases and restore eligible ownership. We do not receive your payment card details. Remaining consumable balances are part of your game save, not a payment receipt.
The Android app includes Google AdMob. When advertising is enabled, its SDK may process IP address, device identifiers including advertising ID, ad interactions and diagnostics for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. Consent and privacy choices are shown where required. Optional rewarded ads are separate from the Remove Ads purchase. Current test builds may have ad placements disabled.
See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy and Google's Privacy Policy.
Support and your choices
Help & Support in Settings opens an email draft with your app version, device/OS information and User ID. You can edit it before sending. We receive your email address and the details you send only when you send the email.
To raise a concern about a nickname or request removal of your data, email visbylabs.studio@gmail.com. For your own data, include the User ID shown beside Privacy Policy in Settings. Uninstalling the app does not remove records already stored on our servers.
Diagnostics and retention
The updated Android app does not upload automatic diagnostic reports. Older versions may continue sending app/device information, errors, performance and gameplay statistics until updated.
Leaderboard records are kept while the service operates or until removed. Earlier diagnostic records and development backups are kept until manually deleted. Support messages are kept to handle requests and follow-ups.
Service providers
Cloudflare hosts our game services and database; Google provides our support email. These providers process the network information needed to deliver and secure their services. Connections use HTTPS. We do not store IP addresses in our gameplay database or sell your data.
The game does not request access to your contacts, precise location, photos, microphone or camera. It also checks for app updates without sending your nickname or game progress. Google Play may process installation and app-quality data under Google's Privacy Policy.
Children and contact
THROWFACE is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact visbylabs.studio@gmail.com.
